FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, Texas – June 5, 2026 – Following last week’s Taiwan launch of its multi-nation Access Asia summer trade mission program, the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) shifts its focus to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies with this weekend’s liftoff of the Access Vietnam trade delegation. Running from June 6th to June 12th, 2026, the mission will embed an elite cohort of Central Texas business leaders, real estate developers, and tech executives into the commercial engines of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The initiative directly reflects the shifting demographic and economic landscape of Central Texas, where the Vietnamese community stands as one of the fastest-growing Asian populations in Greater Austin. Access Vietnam is strategically designed to translate these deep cultural and community ties into direct international business collaboration, high-value corporate deals, and robust bilateral trade corridors.
“The economic and cultural synergy between Greater Austin and Vietnam is at an all-time high, driven in large part by our region’s dynamic and rapidly growing Vietnamese community,” said Minh Tran, GAACC Board Chair, President/CEO of EmmyEvan, and Vietnam delegation leader. “Access Vietnam is an unprecedented opportunity to turn that cultural bond into a robust economic engine. We are thrilled to lead this delegation of exceptional Texas leaders into Vietnam’s booming tech, venture capital, and manufacturing hubs. By connecting Central Texas directly with Vietnam’s digital transformation agenda, we are paving the way for groundbreaking cross-border investments that will shape our region’s economic future.”
High-Impact Mission Pillars: From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City
The delegation’s carefully curated itinerary bypasses traditional tourism to embed Texas leaders directly into the foundational pillars of Vietnam’s modern economy:
- National Innovation & Digital Transformation (Hanoi): The delegation will engage in high-level institutional briefings with AmCham Hanoi, the U.S. Embassy, and the government-backed National Data Association. A deep dive into the Ministry of Finance’s International Innovation Center (NIC) will connect Austin leaders with government-backed tech scaling programs.
- E-Commerce & Tech Talent Pipelines (Hanoi): Delegates will meet with cross-border e-commerce pioneers like Open Commerce Group (powering 86,700+ global sellers) and DLS e-Commerce, alongside MindX, a tech education powerhouse placing premier Vietnamese software and engineering talent with global employers.
- Venture Capital & Deep Tech Acceleration (Ho Chi Minh City): In Vietnam’s southern commercial hub, the delegation will interface with the country’s top investment minds, including Do Ventures, Mekong Capital, AVV, and Earth VC—a global fund dedicated to climate and deep tech innovations.
- Manufacturing, Supply Chains, & Academic Alliances: The cohort will explore advanced fashion manufacturing networks with VinMake and establish higher-education and research commercialization tracks during a specialized briefing at Fulbright University Vietnam.
The Access Vietnam delegation is heavily focused on actionable corporate outcomes, localized supply chain advantages, and inbound capital investments.
“Vietnam represents one of the most compelling opportunities for American business today: world-class manufacturing, deep tech talent, a rapidly maturing startup ecosystem, and a bilateral relationship with the United States at historic highs,” said Minh Mac, Founder of 100B, a primary program partner for the Vietnam leg. “Access Vietnam brings Austin’s investors, developers, and business leaders into direct engagement with that opportunity at every level. 100B is proud to partner with GAACC to ensure Austin is not just present in this story, but leading it.”
The commercial applications of the trip span multiple key industries in Texas, notably including the red-hot Central Texas real estate, construction, and development corridors.
“LT Commercial Group was built on a simple belief: real estate is a global business, and Texas is the destination,” said Lezlie Tram, CEO of LT Commercial Group. “Through our partnership with 100B, we’re bringing Vietnamese furniture manufacturers directly to Texas contractors and developers, cutting out the middleman and bringing serious cost advantages to our projects. And we’re not stopping there. We see significant capital from major Vietnamese corporations looking for a home in Austin’s growth corridor. Access Vietnam is where those conversations start turning into deals.”
The delegation boasts an impressive roster of Texas business champions, including executives from SOAL Technologies, Centauri Capital Group, Henry S Miller Brokerage, Trade Management Solutions, Frontline ER, the Asian Chamber of Commerce Houston, and Melsen & Company.
GAACC extends its deepest appreciation to its title partners for making this historic trade mission possible: The City of Austin and 100B.
