We have a very special day of connection planned for the community beginning at Austin City Hall (301 W. 2nd St.) with a 8:00-9:00 am breakfast ceremony to celebrate the graduation of the first GAACC Leadership Accelerator Cohort.
Austin City Manager TC Broadnax, Chief of Staff Genesis Gavino, and a number of Austin City Council Members including Zo Qadri (District 9) and Krista Laine (District 6) will join the morning session to welcome our group and celebrate the emerging Accelerator leaders.
Following the City Hall session, our group will head to the all new Austin Visitor Center in the beautifully revitalized historic Phillips Building at 103 E. Fifth St. for a tour of the new facilities and continued connection-building with Visit Austin.
Then we walk to the Austin Club at 110 E 9th St. for lunch from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. At the luncheon, we will be joined by Austin Chief of Police Lisa Davis, Travis County District Attorney José Garza, Travis County Judge Andy Brown, City of Austin Chief of Staff Genesis Gavino, and Minh Tran, GAACC Board Chair.
At the luncheon we will release the findings from the 2024-25 Central Texas Asian Impact Survey and will honor Victoria Li with a GAACC Community Impact Award for her longstanding and tireless leadership across Central Texas’ AAPI communities.
This is an incredible array of influential City and County leaders, all joining us to recognize the many contributions of GAACC to the region and the incredible positive impact of the Asian community.
Join fellow leaders and advocate for the Central Texas Asian business community! Space is limited so please register HERE now.
Finally, I would like to thank Smith & Vinson Law Firm for their generous support of this event as our Luncheon Sponsor! If you would like to sponsor Austin Asian Impact Day 2025 and put your brand in front of civic and community influencers from across our region, please let me know ASAP.
