February is always a busy time for the local AAPI community. With Lunar New Year bringing fun and exciting cultural events across Central Texas, it can be hard to keep track of everything going on!
That’s why we’ve compiled this list of Lunar New Year events and celebrations from around our local community. Many of these events are free to the public to attend. We’ll be updating the list throughout the month of February, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back often to be sure not to miss anything!

The Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout east and southeast Asia and marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. CHUNJIE means spring festival, and it is the most important festival on the Chinese calendar and traditionally represents a time to celebrate with family and friends.
