GAACC Announces the Departure of President & CEO

AUSTIN, Texas – The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) today announced that President and CEO Fang Fang will depart the Chamber on January 13, 2023.

Fang has been with the Chamber since September 2020, and has made many valuable contributions to our organization, and the Asian community in Central Texas. “Fang joined us at a challenging time,” said Jessica Chen, Chair of the GAACC Board of Directors. “With the COVID-19 pandemic reshaping the business environment, our communities and our lives, Fang Fang and the team stepped up to the challenge, and steered us to greater heights. We appreciate her efforts, and wish her even greater success in the future.”

“We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary,” continued Jessica, “and we remain committed to being the leading partner for businesses with ties to Asia and Asian Americans in Central Texas. In the coming days, we will communicate information on an interim leader, and launch a national search for our next President and CEO.”
